Welcome to all bloghoppers, joining me from the inspirational blog of Piia Podersalu, a talented designer and illustrator from Israel.
You are now entering Germany! A few words about me: I am a well experienced graphic designer and illustrator who recently fell in love with surface pattern design and went "back to school" to study everything around it. I love to tell stories in patterns and aim to combine the handdrawn/handpainted with the digital world. After earning my first (tiny) stripes as a Surface Pattern Designer in 2012 I am currently working on my new website. Please feel free to look around my blog! I would be happy to see you visiting again!
And now let's fly:
These are feather drawings from my sketchbook …
General inspiration: nature, ethnic, tribal, midcentury.
Emerald palette: Earthy, yet fresh, with a touch of mystical.
With this bloghop, we are kicking of the design year 2013.
Goals for 2013:
To grow as a designer and illustrator.
To find balance in work, love, friendship and time to just be.
My word of the year 2013: balance.
Dear bloghoppers, thanks a lot for reading. Please feel free to comment, I'd love to hear from you!
Please hop on now to South Africa, to Kirsten Miller's blog for more fantastic designs! If you just found us now, you can start your hop in France, on the pattern addict blog of designer Gill Eggleston. From there you will be linked from blog to blog to fly around the world in design. Enjoy!
A big thank you goes to Rosie Martinez-Dekker from Believe Creative Studio for curating this fab bloghop!
Grundlegende Inspiration: Natur, ethno, tribal, 50ger jahre.
